About Us
The Greenmount Road church of Christ is a nondenominational autonomous congregation of the Lord’s church we read about in the New Testament. We believe in the Godhead (Colossians 2:8-10, 1 John 5:7). We believe the Bible has been given to us by God (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). We have all matters that pertain to life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Our church is overseen by a group of elders that strive to be Christ-centered and Bible-based. We call Bible things by Bible names and do Bible things in Bible ways. We also speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent.

Salvation
- Salvation has appeared to all men (Titus 2:11).
- The path to salvation is found in the Bible:
- Hear the Word: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17 (Acts 15:7)
- Believe that Jesus is the son of God: “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” - John 8:24 (Hebrews11:6)
- Repent of your sins: "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you shall all likewise perish." - Luke 13:3 (Acts 2:38)
- Confess that Jesus is the son of God: "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 10:32 (Romans 10:8,9)
- Be Baptized for the remission of sins: "And Peter said unto them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.' " - Acts 2:38 (1 Peter 3:21)
- We must Remain Faithful: "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." – Revelation 2:10 (Matthew 24:13, James 1:12)
